Mark 16:15 (AMP) And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].

RADICAL DISCIPLE’S DECLARATION by Pastor Harold Warner
Pastor Harold Warner is one of the leaders of the fellowship of churches I am a member of. He is one of the most genuine and inspiring ministers I have ever heard preach and he doesn't just preach the gospel he lives the gospel! Shortly after he was married he became a pastor and just before he moved to his first post with his wife he had a car accident which left him paralyzed from the waist down and ended up in a wheel chair. As soon as he got out of the hospital, he went to straight back to that place and took up his calling to be a pastor and has been all over the world in his wheel chair preaching the gospel and he still is today!
Today I am stepping across the line
I’m tired of waffling and I’ve finished with wavering
I have made my choice, the verdict is in and my decision is irrevocable
I’m going God’s way, there is no turning back!
I will live the rest of my life serving God’s purposes, with God’s people, on God’s planet for God’s glory
I will use my life to celebrate His presence, cultivate His character, participate in His family, demonstrate His love and communicate His word.
Since my past has been forgiven, I have purpose for living and a home waiting in heaven.
Therefore I refuse to waste anymore time or energy on shallow living, petty thinking, trivial talking, thoughtless doing, useless regretting, hurtful resenting or faithless worrying.
Instead I will magnify God, grow to maturity, serve in ministry and fulfil my mission in the membership of His family.
Because this life is preparation for the next,
I will value worship over wealth,
We over me, character over comfort,
Service over status and;
People over possessions, position and pleasure,
I know what matters most and I will give it all I’ve got
I will do the best I can, with what I have for Jesus Christ today.
I won’t be captivated by culture, manipulated by critics, motivated by praise, frustrated by problems, debilitated by temptations or intimidated by the devil,
I’ll keep running my race with my eyes on the goal, not on the side-lines or on those running by me
When times get tough and I get tired, I won’t back-up, back-off, back-down, back-out or back-slide.
I’ll just keep moving forward by God’s grace.
I’m spirit led, purpose driven, mission focussed, so I can’t be brought, I will not be compromised and I shall not quit until I finish this race
I’m a trophy of God’s amazing grace, so I will be gracious to everyone, grateful for everyday and generous with everything that God entrusts to me
I am radical in the original sense of the word, rooted in Christ, rooted in love and rooted in His word.
I hereby declare my supreme allegiance to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I say this however, whenever, wherever and whatever you ask me to do, my answer is yes
I’m ready anytime; anyway, whatever it takes Lord, whatever it takes
I want to be used by you in such a way, that on that final day I’ll hear you say well done good and faithful one come on in.
Amen.

WEEK EIGHT: The Gospel - Be Prepared
Caption: Prayer is a major part of our evangelism program in my church because we understand that without engaging the Holy Spirit, receiving His power and thereby inviting God to lead our evangelism campaigns, and as a result we will have the confidence required to trust in His ability to save life through us.
Key Word / Text: Acts 1:8 (NIV)“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Food for Thought: Have you ever approached someone to witness to them or an outreach event and found yourself lacking confidence? Or you were not sure what you would say? Your throat became dry and you started to sweat? Or worse, you decided not to witness because you didn’t think you could do it? – A lack of confidence rooted often in fear is a common occurrence in evangelism namely due to a lack of power. For Christians, power comes from the Holy Spirit, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Without the Holy Spirit we can no nothing and therefore it is important for us to seek the power of the Holy Spirit in prayer daily so that we are equipped and ready to witness with a confidence that God will move as it is His Spirit that leads and guides us.
The Weekly Challenge:
1. If you do not already, start praying daily for all those who you will meet and witness to, that God will open their hearts before you even meet them / see them again and that through your contact they WILL be saved.

The Passion of the Christ: (Music Video) "This Man"
" Video I made after a friend asked me about the Passion of the Christ movie. He didn't understand the movie so I made this to try to help him understand as well as for others to use in outreach. (update my friend accepted the Lord and is now my brother Praise God!). --Music by Jeremy Camp "This Man" and Jeremy Riddle."
I was encouraged when I saw the creative way in which the person who made this video presented the gospel to his friend and praise God that God moved on the young man's heart and he is now saved! Be encouraged for those who have family, friends, colleagues who don't respond to your words, there is more than one way to give people the gospel, so be creative! To the glory of God...
Please do write to us @ pgspreadtheword@gmail.com and share some of the creative ways you have shared the gospel to encourage others!

Go bless you.
WEEK SEVEN: The Gospel - Seeing the urgency
Caption: The image above is a painting (artist unknown) of the end of time as we know it, when the redeemed of Christ through the cross inherit eternal life and those who are not saved are cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death. This is the reality of the gospel, ONLY they that call upon the Lord will be SAVED.
Key Word / Text: Revelation 21:6-8 (NIV)
He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son.But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
Food for Thought: As Christians we are fully aware of what the end of life will bring, the judgement of sin and the second death for those who do not accept Christ yet we seem to lack a sense of urgency in reaching out and witnessing to the lost. The bible says that we do not know the day or the hour in which Christ will return therefore we must not be slow to act but we must spread the gospel and share our faith with those we meet as if that opportunity will be their last to get saved. How important is it to you to snatch people out of their downward spiral towards hell and be the instrument that Jesus uses to rescue them?
Jude 1:23 (NKJV) '...but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire...'
The Weekly Challenge:
1. Examine your heart and the reasons why you are selective with whom you share the gospel with or why you do not share your faith enough?
2. Make a commitment to take steps to change the things you find.

WEEK SIX: World Changing begins within...
Caption: The image above is that of my dear friend and sister in Christ being baptized.
Key Text: Matthew 28:19-20
'Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'
Food for thought: Now the bible says that, 'it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God' (Ephesians 2:8). The action of baptism does not contribute to your salvation, ONLY the blood of Jesus saves us however He directs us to be baptized so we are baptized, as Christ was, out of obedience. Baptism is the outward show of an inward commitment to God. As we go into the water, it signifies dying to sin and and our old sin nature. As we come out of the water, this signifies rising in Christ and in newness of life. Baptism has been referred to as 'the silent witness' as it is the message of the gospel without words, a power demonstration of the power of Christ to save and change a life.
The Weekly Challenge:
1. Have you been baptized?
* If yes, share the story with someone who is not saved explaining why you got baptized.
* If no, get baptized and invite everyone you know and even those you do not know so well to come and witness the event, maybe even throw a dinner to celebrate this event and invite these people to come along.

WEEK FIVE: World Changers Part 4 - "Go into all the world..."
Caption: This week’s picture is actually a poster I made to encourage my local church to give towards the work of the church branch we have in Accra, Ghana. This is also our ‘Ordinary People of the week image / people. In the picture is Pastor Simeon taken and His wife Harriet. They have taken the Great Commission to the next level and have sacrificed their lives literally to move from London, United Kingdom to Accra, Ghana to be missionaries and see the nation of Ghana won for the Kingdom of God! Wow! Imagine that! They didn’t just give up a couple of hours on Saturday or speak to someone during the course of their day (whilst living the life they wanted to live) no, they left all that was familiar behind them and took their children to a foreign nation to preach the gospel and minister to that nation. Wow!!!
Key Scripture: Mark 16:15 (AMP)
‘And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].’
Food for Thought:
We cannot all physically go to foreign nations to be missionaries as this requires a gifting and appointment from God if you are to go the distance and survive! But we can all be a part of the missionary journey and sacrifice by giving and praying. Missionary work is not free or cheap! This church in Accra, Ghana for example requires some two thousand pounds a month to keep it running, and in addition to that they are trying to build their own building, run a church van to get people to church, give to the poor in their congregation and surrounding areas…the list could go on…They need out support financially as well as our spiritual investment in prayer.
The Weekly Challenge:
1. Find a missionary work (that shares your beliefs and ethos) and find out how you can sponsor their work. Your church may already sponsor a missionary team, find out how you can be involved in that.
2. Make a commitment to pray for missionaries operating in one country regularly and keep tabs on their needs and add them to your prayer list (the ones you support financially is a good place to start).

WEEK FOUR: World Changers Part 3 - 'Go beyond your boarders...'
Caption: This is another short of the busy shopping centre in Derby, United Kingdom that we saw last week. I took this picture whilst in Derby on an ‘evangelistic outreach’ (impact team) helping the local branch of my church fellowship in Derby reach their city for Jesus. One of the churches from London joined us and here we see some of them ministering in song (rap actually) which can be heard resonating all the way up the hill and beyond where the eye could see, Jesus was lifted up!
Key Scripture: John 12:32 (KJV)
‘…And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.'
Food for Thought:
One of the marks of Christianity is giving of one’s self for the benefit of others. When it comes to evangelism a really good way of giving is of your time to purposefully go and support a neighboring church or Christian friend in reaching their city or their family / friends. Helping other people reach their city or sphere of influence is just as important as you reaching your own because the scriptures call for us to ‘go into ALL the world’ not just our world and preach the gospel or in other words [Jesus] up so than people can hear the gospel and Jesus can then use that to draw them to Himself…God wants us to be involved in helping our neighbors, near and far to reach the lost in their city for His glory…
The Weekly Challenge:
1. If your local church has impact teams, sign up to go on one!, if not find a friend whose church has an evangelism program or enquire about other churches in your network or fellowship in another city and go up to visit on a day their church has an evangelism outreach to help them witness.
2. Think of other ways you can look beyond your boarders and act on them! Be creative!!!!!!

WEEK THREE: World Changers Part 2 - 'Go into Your Local World...'
Caption: In this week’s picture is a street full of people in the busy shopping centre of a town called Derby, United Kingdom. Just look at how many people are in just this one street on a Saturday afternoon going about their lives, some having never heard the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, some lukewarm in their faith, some are those who knew Christ and are now backslidden (far from God) and others wear labels of other religions or non religions and others still simply confused....This is a picture of what my city and your city looks like today without Christ...
Key Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NKJV)
'Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.'
Food for Thought:
It is so humbling to think that God wants to include us in His plan to save the world isn't it? Imagine that! God thinks I (you) are worthy to be His ambassador in our local city / town, community, office, university, school, network...No matter who we used to be, or how qualified we may think we are, God wants to send us to spread the gospel and share the truth that Jesus is in our lives with others in our local community. This is the focus for this week, ‘your local community’...
How can you be an ambassador and represent Christ in your community through evangelism?
Does your church have a local evangelism program you can step out in faith and participate in?
Is there a scripture union or Christian group in your school, university or workplace you could join and work with to evangelise to the non believers and backsliders in your community?
* An ambassador is a diplomatic official of the highest rank appointed and accredited as representative in residence by one government or sovereign to another; A diplomatic official heading his or her country's permanent mission to certain international organizations; An authorized messenger or representative. [http://www.answers.com/topic/ambassador].
The Weekly Challenge:
1. Find out what your church is doing in the area of evangelism and get involved...if nothing is really happening, why not ask if you can start an outreach group?
2. Purposely go out each day looking for an opportunity to be an *ambassador of Jesus Christ
3. Email us @ pgspreadtheword@gmail.com and tell us how you get on!Strategy for your whole city
Your whole city is lost without Christ and if they die that way, will end up in hell...If we are not actively spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ;we are not truly living out our walk with God through Jesus the way He has called us to...
Our cities are full of brokenness and despair... divorce, suicide, gang violence, teenage pregnancies, abortion, paganism and idol worship are just a small fraction of the things taking place right outside our door steps in out local communities every day!
Charles Spurgeon, a great old time preacher once said,
"If you have no desire to see souls saved,
then you are not saved yourself;
You can be sure of that!"

WEEK TWO: World Changers Part 1 - Your Sphere of Influence
Caption: In this weeks picture we see a group of teenagers from the Potter' House Church in Bristol on an *Impact Team to Reading performing a gospel inspired dance routine to music on the street. It was a sight to see, young girls ranging from 12 - 20 years old completely sold out for Jesus and not ashamed to proclaim the gospel to complete strangers in a strange city desiring only to 'change the world' with the gospel of Jesus Christ!
*An impact team is a group of people who set off to a town that is not their own to evangelise to the lost (non believers).
Key Scripture:
Mark 5:18-20 (NKJV) ‘And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marvelled.
The full story can be found in the following: Matthew 8:28-34; Mark 5:1-20; Luke 8:26-39
Food for Thought:
Wow! Can you imagine being the gadarene demoniac? Living all that time in caves, a broken life, despair, lost to the world then Jesus steps in, saves him, cleans him up and gives him a new life just like the new life we got when we were first saved. And just like us when we first got saved, he wanted to go with Jesus (to heaven in our case) because he wanted to be with Christ and not go back to his situation. What happened was Jesus said no, go back to your ‘sphere of influence’, your friends, family, neighbours and tell them what the Lord has done for you! That is what we need to do, go back to our sphere of influence and cause a change by sharing the saving gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
The Weekly Challenge:
1.Change your part of the world first - Find someone in your sphere of influence (those in your group or network of friends and family) and share your faith with that one person.
2. Look for someone beyond your boarders to reach out to with the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ!
3.Email us @ pgspreadtheword@gmail.com and tell us how you get on!
